Who operates the site?
American Hitting Association is a brand operated by Hitting Universe, LLC, Scottsdale, Arizona. Hitting Universe, LLC also owns Athletic Hitting Development and 46/60 Academy, which AHA recommends on this site.
Information you choose to provide
Our free membership form requests your name, email address, role, preferred sport and optional athlete stage. Our contact form may also collect a message you submit. Only adults 18 or older may submit membership information; parents and guardians may choose an athlete age group without providing a child's name or contact information.
How information is used
We use submitted details to process your request, administer the free email-based membership, and — if you consent — send educational updates, association news, and apparel announcements. AHA may use the selected stage and sport to make messages more relevant. Membership does not create an online account. Membership unlocks the member page, including the option to buy AHA apparel.
Service providers and storage
Our website is hosted on Netlify, which may process website traffic and form submissions on our behalf. Apparel orders are paid through Stripe's secure checkout. Stripe collects your payment details directly; we do not see or store card numbers. We receive your name, email, shipping address and order details so we can ship your order and answer questions about it.
Email preferences
Members may ask to stop receiving AHA communications at any time by emailing info@americanhittingassociation.com or using the contact form. When promotional email delivery is activated, messages should include an unsubscribe mechanism. We do not sell membership email addresses to advertising partners.
Security, retention, and requests
We take reasonable measures to limit access to submitted information. No website or service is completely secure. We retain member details as needed to provide the membership or respond to requests, then remove them when no longer needed or when deletion is requested subject to applicable obligations. Policy changes
We may revise this policy as new services and member benefits launch, including payments or CRM integrations. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
