Five swings off a tee with a radar, a HitTrax or another sensor. Your hardest one counts, scored against the AHA Hitting Standards for your age.
How to film it →Ten swings with the tee set for an outside pitch. Line drives into the opposite-field target are home runs.
Setup and scoring →Ten swings, five tee spots: inside, middle, away, up and down. Hit every pitch where it's pitched.
Setup and scoring →A spinning ball flashes and disappears. Call the spin. Every right answer makes the next flash faster.
Play it →The pitch vanishes partway to the plate. Tap where it crosses the zone. The better you read, the earlier it vanishes.
Play it →Baseball: read the pitcher and steal or get back, 20 jumps. Fastpitch: see the pitch for a third of its flight and call it, 20 pitches.
Play it →Winners in every age group and sport, every month. Free to enter, no purchase required.
The top Go Hitting Rank in each age group and sport wins AHA Outfitters gear: hats, shirts and more.
The biggest month-over-month jump in each sport wins AHA gear too. It's not just for the biggest kid.
Winners get a Go Hitting winner badge and a feature on the AHA leaderboard. Year-end standings lead to a national event.
Game scores update live. Tee event results post on Results Day, after an AHA coach confirms the winners' clips.
Every score comes with a next step matched to your hitter: free drills and games, online training by age, a coach's eyes on the swing, or lessons in Scottsdale. Know where you stand, then know what to work on.
SEE YOUR NEXT STEPNo. The Go Hitting Challenge is free to enter every month, and winning never requires buying anything. AHA membership is free too.
Baseball and fastpitch softball hitters age 7 and up. A parent or guardian signs up anyone under 18. Youth groups: 7–8, 9–10, 11–12, 13–14 and 15–18. Adult divisions: College (19–22), Adult (23–39) and Masters (40+). Groups go by the age the hitter turns this year.
First name, last initial and state only (for example "Jake M., AZ"). Never a school, team, photo or full name. Proof clips are private and only seen by the AHA coach who checks them.
Skip it, or film it at any cage with a HitTrax or a Pocket Radar. You can still play the other five events; you just won't have points for that one.
Everyone in the same month gets the same rules, a scored round is checked on our server (not your phone), and you get 3 scored rounds per game per day. Your best round counts. Rounds that look impossible are pulled.
