How to pick a hitting instructor in North Carolina

  • Ask how they teach. A good instructor can explain what they are fixing and why, in plain words your player understands.
  • Watch one lesson first. Your player should be swinging a lot, not standing around listening.
  • Ask about progress. How will you know it's working? Look for simple measures like exit velo, bat speed or quality at-bats.
  • Check safety. Ask about background checks and who else is in the building with your player.
