This is a starter list of 567 local youth softball leagues built from public league and district listings. Leagues marked Checked are ones AHA opened on their own site and saw a current season; the rest come from public lists and haven't been confirmed yet. It's not complete for any state, and a listing doesn't confirm a league's current charter, registration dates or openings. Always confirm with the league. AHA is independent and isn't affiliated with Little League, Babe Ruth League, Cal Ripken Baseball or USSSA. League leaders can add, claim, update or remove a listing free.

Rec league or travel ball?

Local rec leagues like Little League and Cal Ripken are the best place for most young players to start: close to home, affordable and built around playing time. Travel ball adds more games and travel at a higher cost. When you're ready to compare, see the Travel Team Finder, the Travel Ball Cost Calculator and the League Age Calculator.
